Cartridge Case Grooving And Length Cutting Machine

The process starts with the feeding of the cartridge cases to the feeding units with the transport system and transferring them to the machine in a controlled manner. The machine allows the incoming cartridge cases to be transferred to two sides, one right and one left, respectively. The lever mechanism, which is driven by the cams, allows the staggered feeding of the cartridge cases. In this way, the capacity is multiplied by 2. Each station of the bench, which performs these operations are equipped with mechanical clamping collet chucks. In this way, the collet chucks allow the cartridge cases to be clamped and operation in the station to be completed.
At the first station, the nail part of the cartridge case is processed. The transfer of the cartridge cases between the stations is provided by the punches and arms that are activated by mechanical movements. All of these processes are driven by mechanical systems. The cartridge case, which is transferred, is fixed by inserting it into the collet chucks with the help of a punch. In the second station, the cartridge case is also turned upside down and length cutting is performed. As a final operation, the mouth chamfer of the cartridge is opened at the third station. The burrs formed in all processes are discharged with the help of the conveyor. The cartridge cases, whose processes are completed, are carried on the conveyor with the help of a pipe for evacuation.
